What We Know So Far. Each year, Ryan Murphy and his Gang of Mischievous Miscreants put their collective nose to the grindstone to deliver new and increasingly ridiculous seasons of FX's dark anthology American Horror Story. And it only involves the slightest amount of voodoo and witchcraft. Below, you'll find a complete breakdown of everything that has come out for American Horror Story Season 7, from thematic news to trailers to the all- important question about what kind of weirdo Evan Peters will be playing this year. Remember to bookmark and keep checking back for new updates, because you never know when a Minotaur might show up with a bunch of good or bad news. When Will American Horror Story Season 7 Premiere? Currently, FX has not come clean with any specific dates on which we might get to re- enter the lives of the most doomed people in fiction: American Horror Story characters. But, thanks to last season's big change- up in its seasonal timing, we have a much better clue on what we might expect from the next premiere window. While the first five seasons all aimed for October release dates that got Halloween ushered into the early storytelling, Roanoke shifted things earlier for a mid- September debut, which not only capitalized on beating some network series premieres, but also saved viewers from having to go through a winter hiatus before the final handful of episodes aired. All involved seemed to like that tactic's success, so expect an early fall start once more. What Have We Seen So Far From American Horror Story Season 7? Though FX will eventually put out more 1. Fuse's Complete Guide has everything we know about the cast, timing and plot of the upcoming. Eichner is joining American Horror Story From the subtitle to the plot, cast and spoilers, here's everything to know about season 6 of 'American Horror Story: Roanoke' after the big twist reveal in episode 6. A new actor shows up to the house per Sidney's request; three young adults enter the woods to shoot footage of the blood moon and the history of the house for the web. American Horror Story teasers than there are costumes in Lady Gaga's closets, that particular slice of fun and excitement has not yet started. So, basically, the only thing we've seen so far from Season 7 is Ryan Murphy talking about it on talk shows and on stage. Fear not, though, because we are not far from the days of screaming spiders and angry aliens and all the other nightmarish atrocities this show's marketing team can come up with. Production on Season 7 is set to begin in June 2. What's The Theme For American Horror Story Season 7? It's every year's $6. And the upcoming general theme was thankfully touched upon far earlier in the year than Roanoke's was - even earlier than past seasons' - and Ryan Murphy initially claimed viewers will get to see some form of the 2. Presidential election, as filtered through the unadulteratedly bizarre lens of American Horror Story. Of course, saying American Horror Story Season 7 is going to be about . We should still expect flashbacks, though. As far as the Big Two at the head of the election story, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were initially stated to be a part of it and then were tossed out. But American Horror Story will still reportedly either feature the duo outright or will have stand- in representations. What better time could there be for an antichrist story? Interestingly, before the election stuff came up, Murphy had already come out saying that Season 7 would tie in with certain Freak Show characters and their family histories. This was around the time when the Mott family stuff came up for Roanoke, so it's hard to tell if that angle will still be used within the context of the POTUS hunt. What American Horror Story Cast Members Are Returning For Season 7? Last year's American Horror Story: Roanoke, while also completely changing the theme- revealing game, also went a bizarrely indirect route with its casting announcements. All of the big stars were almost exclusively revealed through random interviews from the actors themselves, but Season 7 seems to be taking the more traditional route, with Ryan Murphy announcing the first two additions himself. Having played lead roles from Season 2 onward, it just wouldn't feel like a year of AHS without one of Paulson going through some transformation for our eyes. No word yet on what kind of role she'll take on in Season 7. Evan Peters. Though Paulson played a two- headed freak show act for one season, you can't get a more varied set of bonkers roles than the American Horror Oeuvre of Evan Peters, who has gone from school shooter ghost to Franken- boyfriend to the fabulous Mr. He'll thankfully also be back for Round 7, though in what capacity, we cannot yet say. When it comes to American Horror Story season seven: Expect more of the unexpected. On that note, it's fair to say that nobody expected co-creators Ryan Murphy and. After a shocking American Horror Story 6, fans are wondering what kind of scary things season 7 has to offer. AHS season 6, titled Roanoke, featured a horror. American Horror Story Season 7 has yet to get a title but rumors about it are already swirling, especially after creator Ryan Murphy announced the theme for the. What New Actors Are Joining American Horror Story Season 7? After only two returning actors were announced, American Horror Story made its third publicly- known addition, and it was surprisingly an entertainer who hasn't been a lead in any of the past seasons. Billy Eichner. The consistently hilarious and high- volume actor Billy Eichner was the first AHS newbie announced, and he'll join Season 7 in a recurring capacity, and he'll likely be around for more than half of the episodes. We don't know quite what to expect just yet, but we do know that he'll have a bunch of mysterious tank tops, and that's legitimate character info. You'll know Eichner from his roles on Parks and Recreation, Hulu's Difficult People, Hairspray Live! Though he is more known for splitting sides than inciting terror, few are meant for this kind of genre- change quite like Billy Eichner. I love that we're getting a more comedic- minded actor involved with the American Horror Story universe. But if Season 7 is anything like Roanoke was, then we might be in for one hell of an acting clinic, especially if the cast of Ryan Murphy's Feud can be used as a litmus test. And I think it can, considering Cuba Gooding Jr. Simpson: American Crime Story. Last season was also the first season of AHS for Andr. That goes for Netflix, where the FX series has long been a home for binge- happy fans, and FX's actual website, which kept some of all of the episodes up when the season was airing. The reason for its absence on Netflix and other streaming sites could be tied to its deal with FX slotting release windows closer to the new season's debut. Or something else entirely. As was just stated, you can currently check out the first five seasons of American Horror Storyon Netflix, as well as on Hulu and on Amazon Prime. So there you have it, American Horror Story fans. Remember to bookmark this page and keep checking back for the plethora of updates as they ooze out of the woodwork and other various materials. If there’s one thing American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy proved last year, it’s that he knows how to get people talking. Unlike prior seasons, in which information slowly but surely trickled out leading up to premiere day, AHS season 6 spent months shrouded in mystery, with absolutely nothing concretely revealed about the season prior to its premiere on FX. This strategy proved quite divisive with fans, but at the end of the day, it would appear that most of those fans tuned in regardless. What they were treated to was American Horror Story: Roanoke, a season which broke the AHS mold in many ways. Presented in the style of popular paranormal documentary series like A Haunting,Roanoke embraced the found- footage style of horror storytelling, while adding in twists and turns never before seen in an AHS season. One assumes that FX must have been impressed by the season’s performance, as the network recently picked up the series for 3 more seasons. While it’s currently unclear what the themes of AHS seasons 7, 8, and 9 will be, one thing Murphy did reveal around last Halloween was his plan to produce a crossover season that combined characters and settings from both the Murder House and Coven seasons. It would stand to reason that this crossover will be one of the next 3 seasons to be produced, but time has illustrated that nothing is ever really guaranteed with Murphy and the AHS crew. In a recent conversation with EW, Murphy offered new details about the coming crossover: “It’s a character from season 1 that will be thrust into the world that you are left with at the end of Coven, which is sort of like the male/female/witch academy. And then all of those characters will intertwine, which is confusing because some of them are from seasons 1 and 3. Like, Sarah Paulson will probably be playing 1. Playing multiple characters will certainly be nothing new for the seemingly endlessly versatile Paulson, who last year played both uptight British actress Audrey Tindall and Shelby Miller — the character Audrey played in the early reenactment episodes of Roanoke. To top things off, Paulson also made a cameo appearance near the end of the season as her Asylum character, intrepid reporter Lana Winters. Between AHS and The People v. Simpson, Paulson has arguably become Murphy’s muse, and there’s no reason to doubt that she’ll be up to whatever challenge he presents her during the crossover season. Perhaps the biggest question concerning the crossover at present is just which Murder House character will be “thrust into the world” of Coven. With all the repeat cast members between the two seasons, actors like Taissa Farmiga and Evan Peters could very well end up talking to later versions of themselves, in the form of their Coven characters. Then again, this could also represent a chance for Murder House principals like Dylan Mc. Dermott or Connie Britton to finally make a full- on return to the series. Mc. Dermott played a small role in Asylum, and Britton hasn’t been back at all since Murder House. American Horror Story season 7 arrives in fall 2. American Horror Story - Wikipedia.
